The presence of water is believed to heighten paranormal activity, mainly ghost sightings. Its been theorized that because ghosts require the use of energy to appear and the impurities in water conduct electricity, ghosts may appear by using the conductivity. I am inclined to believe in this theory because I have had the most experience with sensing/seeing ghosts close to the Chesapeake Bay. The first encounter I had was one night where I was about to fall asleep. I was in the oldest bedroom in the house and was especially tired since I hadn’t been able to sleep the night before. I had just fallen asleep when I suddenly was awakened with a rush of adrenaline and panicked fear because I knew there was an older man watching me from a specific corner of the room. I tried to convince myself I was just loopy from not sleeping, but sensing the spirit had abruptly awakened me and I knew I was only trying to placate myself so I could return to sleep. It helped because I somehow knew the ghost did not mean any harm, I got the reassuring impression the man was a very good man who was simply intrigued by me. Perhaps I was sleeping in his bedroom since it was originally the only bedroom of the house. I suspected he had lived in the house and had fond memories of it.
The only time I was sure I had had seen a ghost was there as well. I was swimming around the perimeter of a pool and meditating and happened to think that I would like to see a ghost. I had recently been on a trip where I had talked to plenty of people who had seen and experienced ghosts. As I rounded the side of the pool to face the back garden I saw a wispy, immaterial figure that looked and moved like a tall, older man. It looked like he had on stripped pants. He walked across the yard and to the garden the way anyone would have. Initially I was scared, because he looked so much like a person I thought someone was walking through my yard (and I was home alone). Adrenaline smacked me and I started panicking about who was exploring my backyard and why. After a few seconds passed I realized there was no way it was a living person because the figure had no weight, it looked much more like an apparition. That’s when I was sure I had seen my first ghost. Somehow I knew the ghost was an older man and did not mean any harm. I believe it was the same man who had been watching me in the bedroom. Both times I had been alone, so I’m grateful the man was a good person. I even sensed that he felt protective of me. I was there for a long time by myself and came to really appreciate sensing his presence as it kept my company. I think I’m pretty lucky to have experienced such a kind hearted ghost, I’m sure water provides energy for some much scarier spirits.

I definitely think that water enhances paranormal activity. After all, it is the primordial soup from which we all came! If it can support physical life, why not astral energy?
Wow sorry I can type tonite. lol! Anyways the group 2 yrs and with the way the group went I have lost insight about the paranormal. And I know there are things out there. But now I just dont beleive 100%. And it kinda pissed me off that she took it that way. We didnt have days where we would learn the tools we were learning and its like she didnt care at all. Its like she wanted fame. People started fighting in the group. It was just not right. But anyways I like how yoru videos were played out.
well im from bisbee and its not a hoax well not all my fnaice worked there as well and its not even tht busy to have ppl runnin around its very old,even goast hunters was there and a lot of famous ppl have stayed there like johnny depp and julia roberts!
ive always believed in ghosts but never saw one for my self till about 2 years ago. so the first time i saw a ghost i was scared and in awe my cousins katie and zane saw it too i believe it was my mom’s mom and on july 2011 i saw her once more and i asked her if she was my grandma she took two steps across the kitchin and disapered. we recently moved in to a new house and me and my nephew have reson to believe that it too is haunted from a lady humming to people talking we have tried to debunck all the hapenings but got nothing .we watch Ghost adventures every time it comes on and now we also added paranormal challange to are list. brooklyn
I wonder who she was! Did you compare the ghost you saw with a picture of your grandma? I was definitely in awe of the ghost I saw. I would say I was scared but I was too shocked to be feel it yet. Does the lady humming in your new house sound like she’s humming a particular song? maybe if you played the song for her she would want to show herself. I’ll have to check out the paranormal challenge that sounds cool. I wish i worked on a show like ghost adventures, that would be scary and fun.
Stayed there couple mths ago hearnig it was haunted, but had no specifics.We filmed our room 309 while out dining just for curiousity. wasnt until we got home watched video and a little apparition of a boy appears n plays with our belongings for 12 mins straight. After seeing that footage we investigated history on internet and heard all about a boy and how there are alot of accounts of him roaming the halls of 2nd n 3rd floor and how he supposedly resides in 309 the most but also 312!Creepy
Not wanting to take up more of your time we did have ALOT of other eixpreences there during our stay. And YES that place is truly haunted, but in a good way and people who say otherwise should go and find out for themselves before they dismiss the claims. A wonderful time it was, and plan to stay again in the future:^)
